From ideation to post-production, a professional video production project is executed in three distinct, sequential phases: Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. This systematic workflow ensures quality control and strategic alignment with the client's goals.

The Foundation: Negotiation and Documentation

This phase is entirely focused on formalizing the partnership and defining the project's parameters:

Initial Consult and Discovery: This is where we fully understand the client's objective, target audience, budget ceiling, and where the content will live (e.g., social, TV, e-commerce).

Proposal and Pricing: A detailed proposal is submitted, outlining the creative concept, estimated costs, and the rationale behind the pricing, linking expense directly to the guaranteed quality and strategic return on investment.

Negotiating Deliverables: This is the precise agreement on what the client will receive. This goes beyond the final video length and specifies:

The number of final cuts (e.g., 1 main 60-second video, 3 vertical 15-second social cuts).

The required aspect ratios and resolutions (e.g., 4K for broadcast, 9:16 for Instagram Reels).

The delivery of ancillary assets (e.g., still photographs, raw footage, motion graphics files).

Contract Finalization and Sign-Off: The legal framework is established. The contract details usage rights, intellectual property ownership (crucial for ensuring Seputeh Rasmi's work is legally secure), payment schedule, cancellation clauses, and revision limits.

Kick-Off & Deposit: The project officially begins once the contract is signed and the initial deposit (often 50%) is secured, activating the team to move into the Pre-Production phase.

1. Pre-Production: The Strategic Foundation

This is the planning phase where all creative and logistical decisions are finalized. This phase saves significant time and budget during the shoot.

Ideation & Creative Brief: We begin by defining the Creative Anchor and the Unique POV. Based on the client's needs (e.g., selling perfume), the Creative Director establishes the core narrative, mood, and visual style.

Concept & Script Development: The narrative is translated into a detailed script. For commercial work, this includes the Call-to-Action (CTA) and core emotional message.

Storyboarding & Visuals: The script is broken down into a shot-by-shot visual guide. This ensures every team member understands the camera angles, lighting setup, and continuity required.

Logistics & Scheduling: This covers casting, location scouting, equipment rental, securing necessary permits, and finalizing the detailed shoot schedule (call sheet).

2. Production: The Execution

This is the physical shooting phase, focused entirely on efficient execution of the Pre-Production plan.

Technical Setup: The crew arrives, sets up lighting, audio equipment, and camera rigs according to the storyboard.

Shooting: The director guides the talent and crew to capture all necessary footage, adhering strictly to the schedule. This phase requires discipline to ensure all footage needed for editing (coverage) is captured correctly to avoid costly re-shoots.

Dailies/Quality Check: Footage is often reviewed on set (or immediately after the day's wrap) to ensure technical quality (focus, exposure) and creative alignment.

3. Post-Production: The Final Craft

This is where the raw material is assembled and polished into the final, cohesive product.

Editing: The editor assembles the footage based on the script and storyboard, creating a rough cut, which is refined through client feedback into a final edit.

Sound Design & Mixing: All dialogue is cleaned, background music and sound effects are added, and levels are balanced. High-quality audio is crucial for perceived professional value.

Color Grading: This is the critical step where the visual anchor is finalized. The footage's color and light are manipulated to achieve the consistent mood and style defined in Pre-Production (e.g., the rich, deep tones for luxury perfume).

Final Delivery: The finished video is exported in all necessary formats and resolutions for final client delivery (e.g., 4K for broadcast, optimized ratios for social media).
